Once again, the Reilly family would like to thank you for the bottom of our hearts.
We were able to surpass the $30, 000 mark in total monies raised since we began the Frank Reilly memorial 4 years ago.
This would not have been possible without the involvement of all the golfers that braved the threatening weather. At first, it seemed a cancellation may have been on the horizon. After a few prayers and wishes, the clouds parted and the rain held off until all the golfers had finished. We can't express enough how much we appreciate the time you took out of your weekend to come join us. We hope you enjoyed yourselves!
We had a great list of local businesses and individuals involved in this year's tournament.
Thank you to each and every one of you for your generosity in support of Nutrition for Learning.
Many many thanks.

The day is here!
The 4th Annual Frank Reilly Memorial Fundraiser for Nutrition for Learning is Sunday, September 21st.
A note to golfers:
Please meet us at Foxwood at 11:30 in order to register. We will be playing "rain or shine", with the exception of an inclement weather call by course management. If such a call is made, it will be made at the course and we will make alternative arrangements.
On top of the golf, we have over $5000 in prizes up for grabs in the auction and raffles at the Duke. So come enjoy good food, good drinks, good entertainment and a great cause!
Nutrition for Learning thanks you!

Hope to see you Sunday!
The 4th Annual Frank Reilly Memorial tournament is upon us. This Sunday, come join us at Foxwood Country Club for a round of golf in support of Nutrition for Learning. We still have space for you to join in. Sign up starts at 11:15. It's a best ball format and lots of fun! Having a foursome isn't necessary. As a golfer, you have a chance to win some cool prizes. These include a trip for two to Hawaii from Frederick Travel and a year supply of some of KW's yummiest chicken wings from the Duke of Wellington.
Back at the pub, we will enjoy live entertainment, a good meal & have the chance to get in on some great prizes, raffles and 50/50 draws. Even if you are not a golfer, we would really love to have you at the Duke to join in on the fun.
We are passionate about supporting this charity. We hope that you will be able to come join us in our efforts!
Sincerely hope to see you there,
Frank Reilly Memorial

WIN A TRIP TO HAWAII! The 4th Annual Frank Reilly Memorial Golf Tournament is coming up!
September 21st, 2014 ~ Foxwood Country Club
$100/person. Includes all the usual bells and whistles: 18 holes of golf, cart, beer and burger at the course, prizes, dinner at the Duke after the round and glory for the winning team by having their names permanently displayed on the trophy at the Duke.
This year, golfers have a chance to win a TRIP FOR TWO TO HAWAII! This is generously supplied by Frederick Travel and includes hotel, flights and car rental.
Wow, it's hard to believe that we are in our fourth year!
This year we have decided to return to a charity that we know and love ~ Nutrition for Learning.
This local charity helps approximately 10 000 local kids each day by ensuring they start their day with a nutritious meal.
In Frank's childhood, he was a "breakfast kid". He certainly would have benefited from having such a wonderful organization at his disposal in poverty ridden 1950's Glasgow. This is why Nutrition for Learning is near and dear to our hearts. Frank LOVED this charity when he was alive, and would be so happy to hear we are supporting them again this year.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME! Not a golfer? No Problem! Come support Nutrition for Learning by scoring some great prizes in our silent auction, raffles or 50/50 draw!
SIGNUP OPTIONS:
- with your lovely Duke bartender
- by calling or texting 519-569-9727
OR
- by emailing us at reillymemorial@gmail.com
THANKS EVERYONE!

THANK YOU!
Once again, we were blown away by the generosity of those involved in the Frank Reilly Memorial Golf Tournament. Frank would have been incredibly proud to have known we were able to raise over $5000 for Marillac Place. We were running the tournament on a smaller scale this year due to extenuating circumstances, so to still raise this amount was such a thrill for us.
A big thank you to Julie Hause from Marillac Place for addressing the golfers back at the Duke and letting each of us know why our support of Marillac Place is so very important.
Thank you to each and every golfer who braved the cool weather this year and gave generously to our charity.
Thank you also to the host of volunteers, without whom we wouldn't be able to run the event each year.
Thank you to our list of local businesses and individuals who contributed prizes and goods to this year's event:

A BIG thank you to the Duke of Wellington for their continued support in being our "not for profit" tournament host. Their never ending generosity is inspiring.
Here is to another great year! Did we mention how appreciative we are? :)

Who was Frank Reilly?
It occurred to us recently that some of you may not have had the honour of meeting Frank. Writing a blog to attest to his true nature wouldn't come close to doing him justice. The best way to get to know him would be asking someone at the pub when you come support Marillac Place this Sunday. Ask Billy or Desi- the owners of the Duke- and they'll tell you a million stories of a dear friend who was like family to them. OR of course you can ask one of his daughters or wife who can fill you in on stories of his never ending generosity. For those that are curious, here is a link that may share a bit more information.
Thank you in advance for your contributions this Sunday. Marillac place thanks you.

It is Almost Tourney Time!
The Third Annual Frank Reilly Memorial Golf Tourney is almost here!
We are looking forward to spending Sunday with you and raising money for a very worthwhile cause ~ Marillac Place.
There are still spots for golfers to sign up. Please contact us at reillymemorial@gmail.com or speak to the bartender at the Duke of Wellington (33 Erb Street West, Waterloo).
All who golf in this tourney have the chance to win a $5000 Travel Credit with Frederick Travel!
You don't need to golf, however, to take part in the fundraiser. We would love to see you at the Duke later in the afternoon to take part in the silent auction, 50/50 and other great fundraising opportunities.
So spread the word, and the best of luck to each of you.
